Background: Benign paroxysmal vertigo (BPV), one of the most common causes pediatric vertigo, is characterized by recurrent sudden short-lived attacks which resolve spontaneously without residual disability in otherwise healthy children. In this report, we present a literature review on BPV childhood.Current Concepts: A child with appears frightened and experiences spinning sensation occasional nystagmus vomiting. Episodes usually last less than minute are not associated hearing loss altered consciousness. Most patients relapsing-remitting clinical course for weeks to years, after they spontaneously. Based current evidence, childhood considered variant migraine, vasospasm observed migraine plays an important role pathogenesis disorder. It differentiate from other diseases that including basilar closed head injury, psychiatric dizziness, acute labyrinthitis.Discussion Conclusion: but disorder children should be differential diagnosis aforementioned presentation. reassure parents regarding benign BPV.
